Terms of Service

This Service is offered to users in Japan. The English pages are provided for readability only; they are not an undertaking to comply with the laws of any country outside Japan.

This is a translation of the Japanese original for your convenience. If the two versions differ, the Japanese version governs.

These Terms set out the conditions on which PLASTIC ARCHITECTS Ltd. ("we", "us") provides WebRender (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service is

The Service generates architectural visualisation images with AI from images you upload. The results are intended for presentation purposes. They are not guaranteed to be accurate as construction documents or as measured drawings.

2. Accounts

  1. Some features require signing in through an external provider (Google or LINE).
  2. You are responsible for looking after your own sign-in credentials.
  3. Creating multiple accounts in order to claim the first-time price or the free allowance more than once is not permitted.

3. Credits

  1. The Service runs on credits. The number of credits a single generation costs depends on the engine you choose.
  2. Credits are valid for three months from the date they are granted. Unused credits expire after that.
  3. Credits are consumed in order of the earliest expiry date first.
  4. Credits cannot be refunded, transferred to another account, or exchanged for cash.
  5. Images generated with the free credits granted at sign-up carry our logo as a watermark. The watermark cannot be removed from those images.

4. Redo

If you are not satisfied with a result, Redo returns the credits that generation consumed. Redo can be used once per generation, up to one Redo per 50 purchased credits. An image you Redo is deleted and can no longer be viewed or downloaded (you cannot keep both the credits and the image). For that reason, Redo is not available for images you have already downloaded.

5. Student discount

Students can use the Service at a discount after verifying a school email address (an academic domain such as .edu, .ac.uk, .ac.jp or .ed.jp). The discount applies for two years from verification and then returns to the standard price (you can verify again the same way). If an applicant is not enrolled, or the application turns out to be false, we may cancel the discount and charge the difference.

6. Rights in the generated images

  1. We claim no rights in the images you generate with the Service ("Output"). You may use them on your own responsibility, including commercially, with no further fee or royalty.
  2. You must hold the necessary rights in the images you upload. Do not upload images that infringe the copyright or other rights of a third party.
  3. The possibility that a result resembles an existing work cannot be ruled out entirely. Please check before you use the Output.

7. How we handle uploaded images and Output

  1. We do not use the images you upload, or the Output, for any purpose other than providing the Service.
  2. We do not use them to train AI models.
  3. We do not use them in advertising, promotion or case studies without your permission. If we would like to feature your work, we will ask you each time.
  4. The Output is kept for three months from the date of generation and is deleted after that. Please download anything you need within that period. Deleted images cannot be restored.
  5. Uploaded images (base and reference) are deleted once the generation finishes and are not retained. For quality checks we keep the base image for the same period as the Output, but on our own test accounts only.

8. Rights in the Service

Rights in the software that makes up the Service, in the prompts and other instruction text we have developed, in the reference image assets, and in the design and trade marks, belong to us or to the rightful owner. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute them. Using the Service does not transfer any of these rights to you.

If you breach these Terms, we may suspend or delete your account without prior notice. Remaining credits are not refunded in that case.

11. Changes to, interruption of, and discontinuation of the Service

We may change the Service or interrupt it temporarily without prior notice. If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable advance notice and will separately announce how credits that are valid at that time will be handled.

12. Disclaimers

  1. The Service is provided as is. We do not warrant that results will match your intent or expectations, that they are fit for a particular purpose, or that the Service will be available without interruption. By the nature of AI generation, form, materials and composition may differ from the input image.
  2. We are not liable for damage arising from failures, specification changes or data loss at external generative AI services, payment processors, authentication providers or cloud providers.
  3. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business opportunities or other indirect damage.
  4. Except in cases of our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the one month immediately before the event in question.

13. Indemnity

If a dispute arises with a third party because you breached these Terms, or in connection with your use of an image you uploaded or of the Output, you will resolve it at your own cost and responsibility, and will compensate us for any loss we suffer.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. We will give advance notice on the Service for significant changes. If you continue to use the Service after a change, you are taken to have accepted it.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. For any dispute concerning the Service, the court with jurisdiction over our registered office shall be the exclusive court of first instance.
