This Service is offered to users in Japan. The English pages are provided for readability only; they are not an undertaking to comply with the laws of any country outside Japan.
This is a translation of the Japanese original for your convenience. If the two versions differ, the Japanese version governs.
PLASTIC ARCHITECTS Ltd. ("we", "us") sets out below how we handle information about users of WebRender (the "Service").
1. Our approach
The Service is designed to hold as little information that identifies you as possible. You do not register a name, address or phone number, and signing in only uses the authentication result from an external provider (Google or LINE).
2. What we collect
| Identifiers | An anonymous identifier stored in your browser (a cookie). Once you sign in, we store only a hashed value that cannot be reversed, derived from the user ID we receive from the external provider. With LINE sign-in we receive no name, profile picture or email address at all. |
|---|---|
| Images you upload | The images you provide for generation (the base image and any reference image). We use them to run the generation. Both the base image and any reference image are deleted promptly once the generation finishes. For quality checks we keep the base image for the same period as the generated image (three months) on our own test accounts only. Neither is used to train AI models (see section 5). |
| Results and settings | The generated image and the settings used — image type, style, time of day, weather and so on. Stored so that we can show your history. |
| Text you enter | Project names and any notes you add to the generation settings (including notes you save for reuse). Used only to organise and display your work and to run the generation. We ask you not to enter information that identifies a person; if you do, we treat it the same way as the rest. |
| Credit records | Grants, consumption, expiry dates and expirations. |
| Purchase records | Date, amount and quantity. Card numbers never pass through us and we do not hold them (our payment processor handles them). |
| Student verification | Only if you apply for the student discount: school name, your name, school email address and the date of verification. Used solely to confirm enrolment and for no other purpose. We do not collect this from users who do not apply. |
| Enquiry details | What you type into the contact form: your name, email address, phone number, company name, your message and any attachments. Used solely to answer your enquiry. It is not stored inside the Service — it is relayed by the email provider named below to our own address (support@plstc.org), and from then on it lives in our mailbox. |
| Access logs | Technical records for monitoring availability and preventing abuse. |
3. Why we use it
- To provide the Service, run generations and display your history
- To manage credits, take payment and keep accounts
- To verify eligibility for the student discount
- To prevent abuse, respond to incidents and improve quality
- To respond to enquiries
4. Processors and disclosure
We use the following providers to deliver the Service.
| Google LLC | Image generation (Gemini API). We send the uploaded images and the generation settings. |
|---|---|
| OpenAI, L.L.C. | Image generation (GPT Image API). When you choose a GPT Image engine, we send the uploaded images and the generation settings. |
| Supabase Inc. | Database and image storage. |
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment processing. Stripe collects card details directly; we do not receive them. |
| LY Corporation | Authentication via LINE sign-in. |
| Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) | Email delivery. Used to send contact-form enquiries and student-discount verification emails. |
Servers of these providers may be located outside Japan. We do not provide your information to any third party other than those listed above, except where disclosure is required by law.
5. We do not train on your work
We do not use the images you upload or the results to train AI models. Our agreement with the image generation provider is also on terms under which what we send is not used for model training.
6. Retention
- Generated images: three months from generation. After that we delete them from our storage. Please download what you need before then (this matches the validity period of credits).
- Uploaded images (base and reference): deleted promptly once the generation finishes. On our own test accounts (section 2) the base image is kept for the same three months and is deleted at once if the generation is cancelled with Redo.
- Generation settings and records (excluding images): while your account exists
- Purchase and credit records: for the period required by law
- Student discount applications: deleted promptly once verification and the discount period have ended
6-2. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from the app. Deletion removes:
- All generated images and thumbnails
- Any retained base images
- Your generation history and settings
- Your projects
- Your student discount details (school name, school email address and your name)
- The link to your sign-in account
The following are not deleted.
- Purchase and credit records. We are required to keep these by law as evidence of sales. However, we sever their link to information that identifies you, so you can no longer be identified within our Service (which also means the account cannot be restored).
- Payment records held by our payment processor (Stripe, Inc.). Stripe holds these as the payment provider; they are outside the scope of our deletion. They are retained for the period Stripe sets, for refunds, chargebacks and tax purposes.
- A record that the free allowance has already been granted. It is the external ID converted into an irreversible form (a salted hash) and cannot be used to identify you. We keep it to prevent repeated deletion and re-registration to claim the free allowance again.
Credits remaining at the time of deletion expire and are not refunded. Deletion cannot be undone.
7. Cookies
The Service uses cookies to identify users and keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser, but the Service will not work if you do.
8. Security
We take appropriate measures, including encryption in transit, restricted access rights, and limited handling of credentials within our servers. Generated images are held in private storage and can be viewed only by you, through time-limited links.
9. Access and deletion requests
To request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of the use of your information, please contact us below. We will verify your identity and respond in accordance with applicable law.
10. Changes
We may revise this policy in response to changes in law or in the Service. We will announce significant changes on the Service.
